A shuttle to ceremony, between ceremony and reception, and back from the reception will be provided from this hotel! We will update with specific timing closer to the date. Fairfield Inn &amp; Suites by Marriott Flint Grand Blanc provides express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The hotel features an indoor pool and luggage storage space. Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the hotel.

Ryan is Brett's brother. They are just under 5 years apart. Ryan loved beating Brett in NHL on the PlayStation 2. But beyond that, he has served as a loyal friend and role model for Brett over many, many years.

Little league softball (are we sensing a theme?) made them enemies, but years of youth group, mission trips, and classes together made them best friends! Whether Joy was in Germany, Virginia, or just a social distance away in 2020, Maggie sureee is glad she promised Joy she could be her MOH circa 2010 ;)

Ben and Brett have known each other for their entire lives, except for the 2 months and 20 days that Ben was not born yet. They went to school together from 3rd grade through college. Brett is currently living with Ben and yes they did buy walkie talkies to chat. The basement is a long way away after all.

Less of a cousin and much more a sister!! You may be familiar with their work together running a lemonade stand at Spring Valley Trout Farm at ages 8 & 10. While I could go on forever, she is best summed up as: The one Maggie has looked up to across a lifetime.
Likely not having an appearance this weekend as she's too busy HAVING THE MOST PERFECT BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL!!!

Keegan is one of Brett's very close childhood friends. They lived together for 4 years in college. Prior to that, Keegan lived just up the street from Brett for many years while growing up. They spent a lot of time building forts and going to soccer tournaments together.

Wanting to go to a pop up concert that was announced an hour ago? Feel like you should do an ice bath in Lake Michigan in April? A glucose check? Need some Type 3 fun?? She is your GAL!

Orion and Brett met in middle school and have remained close friends ever since. Orion's hobbies include pickleball, golf, working out, and overall being a great guy. He helped Brett become the mediocre golfer he is today.

MB stands here today to prove that first impressions are not always correct! She is actually SO cool!! Fun fact: Maggie and Brett ran their first half marathon with MB in May 2025, at Yosemite!

Jackson and Brett met in their freshman year at Lahser High School. They spent time in youth group together, and now enjoy golfing with Orion, Jack, and their friend Bryce. While Jackson is taller than Brett, and with much better hair, a lot of people would still say Brett is more handsome than Jackson. They're great friends despite this.

Uh ohhh another cousin-sister! Tiff's mom was Maggie's mom's MOH, so us being close was written in the stars. Further solidified through hours road tripping, hiking, leave-no-tracing, and missing each other so bad since she lives in Washington state now

Shivam is close childhood friend of Brett's. They grew up just a few houses apart from one another. Shivam is diligently working through his Urology residency at Beaumont/Corewell. He is an excellent cook and an even better friend.

From the moment Mady was being recruited to Calvin softball, her and Maggie were attached at the hip. First, for a year via a Twitter friendship and shared love of bucket hats, grilling, dad jokes, and all things 2015. Now and forever more.

Sean and Brett met in college at GVSU and were roommates for 3 years along with Keegan and Ben. How they became roommates is a story for another time, but it proved to be a what some would describe as one of the most pivotal moments of their college years. Sean loves his wife Bridgette, their dog Bizzy, and the Detroit Red Wings.

We're still not sure if Maggie's dad has been paying Anna to be her friend all these years, ever since he met "the All-State pitcher from Iowa!" during freshman dorm move-in before Maggie ever met her. But it's obviously working out well

Brenden is Brett's "little brother" from Theta Chi fraternity at GVSU. While Brenden has moved around the USA, they've remained great friends. He loyally serves as the party's Dungeon Maste-  ...actually never mind. No one here plays DnD.

Mal is a person that anyone would be lucky to have on their side and on their team, and she will stick with you for life. Part time party planner and home bartender, full time teacher, and all around one of the most down for fun people you'll ever meet.

Jack and Brett became fast friends during freshman year of high school. Jack is one of those guys who is as funny as he is good-looking. And boy, is he funny!

yay for making friends in adulthood!! Camille's dietetics internship brought her to Spectrum in Grand Rapids. Their meet-cute was Camille's first day in the hospital, when she stopped a surgery-scrubs clad Maggie to ask if her blister needed a bandaid. This friendship was set in stone as they match each others' craziness, affinity to sing along real loud, and genuine sweetness and care for those around them.

Patrick and Brett met through Maggie. They have bonded over their mutual interest in Michigan/Detroit sports and dogs. They just can't quite agree on if the labrador or golden is the superior retriever.

Claire was there from the absolute beginning of Maggie and Brett's relationship, spending late nights in the sorority house listening to Maggie hem and haw if she wanted to risk ruining the friendship with this very cute boy. Thank goodness she did!;)

Brett and Maggie met in 2017 at Grand Valley State University through Greek Life, and right away knew there was something so undeniably special about the other. They became fast friends. Brett graduated from GVSU in April 2018, though he remained in the area while he applied to Physician Assistant school. Maggie was applying to nursing school at that time (Brett drove her to her interview, even) and soon was accepted to GV’s program. The first date took place on Halloween in 2018. Brett took a chance and asked Maggie to go see a matinee movie. Realizing after the fact that a movie is not a particularly good date, Brett called Maggie to see if she had time to get something to eat afterwards. Maggie said yes and even skipped class to be there. The first date led to a second one, and soon enough the two were inseparable. They were “officially dating” on December 13th, 2018.They enjoyed the next several months living close by one another, attending Crossroads Bible Church, watching shows like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, and enjoying all that Grand Rapids had to offer, particularly Boot Night at New Holland Brewing Company. With Spring of 2019 fast approaching, Brett had to move back to the east side to start PA school at Eastern Michigan University. The next few years proved to be a challenge as they lived over 2 hours apart. However, Brett and Maggie remained committed to seeing each other on every possible weekend. While the distance was difficult, the late-night calls and short weekends spent with one another were always worth it. They perfected the art of the Weekend Trip, whether it was bikepacking and kayaking in the UP, skiing up north, tailgating in Ann Arbor, or quality time with each others families and pets.Brett was able to find a position as a PA in Grand Rapids, and they were finally living just 20 minutes apart again for the first time in over 3 years. They now work in connected hospitals in downtown GR and get to spend the occasional lunch hour (or even a surgery) together! They have returned to some of their old favorite spots, and become regulars at new places, making Grand Rapids more of a community and home. Most importantly, over all these years, their connection continued to grow and their love continued to deepen. Brett proposed to Maggie on a cold, snowy morning of December 21st, 2024. She said yes :) Now, all of you get to be part of the next step in their journey.
